 Radical Forgiveness

This form of forgiveness is based on the idea that if we just become willing to entertain the possibility that everything in life happens FOR us rather than TO us, we will feel better and our life will improve.

We quickly free ourselves from victimhood when we become open to the possibility that there is a divine purpose in what happens.  We realize that the circumstances of our lives are not simply a string of accidents but self-created opportunities for growth, learning and self-transformation. Simply by opening to this possibility, we are immediately free and empowered.

Radical Forgiveness as a concept doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to the ordinary rational mind, though the quantum physicists have an explanation for it. But you don’t have to be able to figure it out. In fact, belief is not required. It works just as well for skeptics as for the convinced.  All it requires is the willingness to try it and to do one or more of the processes that the technology provides.

 Radical Forgiveness Coaching

Coaching is not the same thing as counseling.  RF Coaches are trained to carefully and non-judgmentally listen to your story.  They then point you toward the Radical Forgiveness tool which would be most helpful for you and gently coach you through the process.  They are not trained to give advice.  It is not necessary because Radical Forgiveness removes the energy pattern tied up in the situation and simply dissolves the perceived problem automatically.  Therefore, advice is unnecessary and even counter-productive.

(On the other hand, RF Therapy Practitioners are certified therapists in their own right.  While they offer Radical Forgiveness coaching no different from other coaches, they are able to offer more specific advice commensurate with their own training and expertise.)

To understand the difference between Radical Forgiveness Coaching (as a spiritual treatment for the soul) and psychotherapy, we need only look at the questions each of them asks.

Psychotherapy seeks to find out what is WRONG with the person or his/her circumstances and to then wonder how best to fix their problem.

Radical Forgiveness is based on the principle that, without exception, everything that happens to us is divinely guided, purposeful and for our soul's growth. Therefore, Radical Forgiveness asks not what is wrong but what is PERFECT about what is occurring, and then, how the perfection is being revealed.

The Coach’s role then becomes a matter of helping you shift your viewpoint so that you are willing to entertain the possibility that there might be perfection in the situation. Radical Forgiveness is, therefore, not a therapy at all; rather it is a process of education and a strengthening of your faith in your own spiritual intelligence.  The Coach acts not so much out of a desire to fix you as to show you how powerful you are.
